According to the "Regulations on Environmental Protection Management of Construction Projects" and the "Interim Measures for Environmental Protection Acceptance of Construction Project Completion" (National Environmental Protection and Environmental Impact Assessment [2017] No. 4), the relevant information on the completion environmental protection acceptance of the "Nantong Wantong Steel Pipe Co., Ltd. 8 Americium-241 Thickness Gauge" is now publicly announced as follows:
1、 Basic situation of engineering construction
（1） Construction location, scale, and main acceptance criteria
The project construction site is located in Group 4, Nanyang Village, Chengdong Town, Hai'an County, Nantong City (No. 1 Qixinghu Avenue, Hai'an County Development Zone). The acceptance content includes 8 americium-241 thickness gauges, all of which are Class IV radioactive sources with a factory activity of 1.11 × 109Bq to 3.7 × 109Bq.
（2） Environmental approval status of construction projects
On May 18, 2016, Nantong Wantong Steel Pipe Co., Ltd. obtained approval from the Nantong Environmental Protection Bureau for the environmental impact assessment documents of 8 americium-241 thickness gauges (Tonghe (Registration) Form Fu [2016] 0013).
II Engineering changes
The construction of 8 americium-241 thickness gauges in this project did not exceed the scale of the environmental impact assessment.
